Beyond Voodoo Doughnut Ride (Portland) – Pedal Bike Tours
June 14, 2016 from 8:00 am - 11:00 am
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Tourists come through Portland in a complicated path that must wind past SW 3rd & Ankeny, where a tiny, porny doughnut shop has made an international splash. Rain, 100-degree shine or hail, the tourists fan out from the corner, a dozen or two prize Voodoo Doughnuts held like trophies before them. But Portland has so much more to offer!
Were going to discover how it is Portland’s legendary bike tour guides get their fried dough fix. Our tour will experience doughnuts like the people we are: people who have put in hundreds of hours and dollars on their bikes, searching out doughnut shops and testing as many as we could burn off on the way home.
Our three-ish-hour bike tour will stop at 3-4 doughnut purveyors, with about 12 miles of biking. Bring cash.
