BTBS Ride (Bend; every Tuesday) – Central Oregon Wheelers
September 6, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

We typically ride the Tumalo area for about 25 miles, a different route every week. Frequently, we are above the D pace with a typical ride average of 17-18 mph. The ride often has over 1000′ of climbing.
The ride is quick-paced but social, with no one being left behind. (Well, until the last stretch to Shevlin Park anyway. . .) Pace line skills are a requirement. Part of the enjoyment derives from catching up socially afterwards over a beer at Broken Top Bottle Shop. Feel free to contact Kevin if you have any questions.
Visitors are welcome on their first club ride without a full membership but must sign a Liability Release and give it to the ride leader before the ride or Join as a Guest member. Please note that this privilege may only be used once – you must become a member before attending your second club ride.
All riders MUST wear a helmet and carry ID
