Chris King Gourmet Century (Portland)
July 23, 2016
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

NOTE: Registration opened April 1, and this event sells out fast!
Riders will begin their day at the Chris King factory for an early meal before heading into Portland’s West Hills on a rolling ~100 kilometer course. Each meal will build in succession to a delicious feasting crescendo at the Chris King factory. Portland guests will also have the option of taking a tour of the Chris King facility.
We are still working out the final details of our 2016 Gourmet Century route. It will consist of a 100-kilometer route with approximately 4,500 feet of climbing. Cue sheets and course maps will be provided, and the course will be well marked. Take a look at last year’s route on Strava or Ride with GPS. In addition, we will have a team running a SAG service in the event of an emergency.
This year the Gourmet Century will be working with some of Portland’s finest Chefs. Please stay tuned for the complete list!
