Columbia Century Challenge

In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Approximately 40 minutes north of downtown Portland, off Highway 30 and along the beautiful Columbia River.
Join us for a unique bike odyssey along the back roads of rural Columbia County. There will be two routes to choose from, an Imperial Century-plus and a Metric Century-plus. This will be a challenging bicycle ride starting along the beautiful Columbia River and winding its way through the surrounding forests. Experience the history Columbia County has to offer as well as the unique character of each of the communities you will pass through along the way to the finish line. Bragging rights will not be earned just by the distance ridden alone, but by the substantial amount of elevation gain achieved as well. Proceeds from this event to benefit the continuing improvements in bicycle-safety-related projects throughout Columbia County. For more information please visit our website or contact:
