Cota Trail Love Workday- Spring Edition (Bend)
June 10, 2017 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

We come to our members and the mountain bike community twice a year with a large work party (and after party) that we are now calling Trail Love. We expect 100 or more for this workday so come and join the fun and meet some new friends. We will work for 3+ hrs and then come back to 7th Mountain Resort for a picnic and some beer. Food and beverage are free to all our trail work volunteers. Bring your bikes if you want and go for a ride with new friends on trails radiating out from the resort. Bring the following: long pants are prefered, work gloves, eye protection, good footwear, a hard hat (helmet) if you have one (COTA will provide if you don’t have one), water and snacks and some enthusiasm for building some new trail and maintaining some old ones. One of our focuses for the day will be a new loop trail out from the FS Welcome Center rated green (family friendly) and also some COD relocation making that a more consistently Black Diamond burley fun trail experience.
