DOD Lawler Lovin (Oakridge)
August 20, 2016 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

The hand built extension is now a full .5 mile up the hill and looking really good! With that in mind, there is still quite a bit of finishing and tuning to be done. Please come on out and lend a hand on the 20th. All levels of trail builders are needed, from beginner to expert. We’ll meet up at the first intersection on Patterson Mtn. Road at 9am, then proceed to the work site near Duval Creek. Food and beverages will be provided after the workday.
Please wear appropriate attire when working on trails to include:
Hard Hat(no bicycle helmets. DOD has some hard hats to use if you do not have one)
Sturdy Boots/Pants/Long Sleeve Shirt/ Gloves/ and safety glasses.
Let’s keep the drive alive!!
