DOD Weekly Women’s Rides (Eugene; every Wednesday)
June 1, 2016 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Hey, ladies! Join us every Wednesday at 6 pm to pedal around our great outdoors. There will be something for everyone each week, whether you’re new to the mountain biking scene or a seasoned pro. The location and ride will vary depending on who is leading that week. Be sure to check the Rides Forum for details about each week’s ride. If you are interested in leading a ride, please add yourself to the Leader Sign Up sheet.
Every third Wednesday we’ll meet at the Emerald Valley BMX track for technique coaching and practice, followed by an urban assault to the nearest food and bevy joint, by consensus.
Instigate an adventure! Share your favorite trails! Most of all, have fun making new friends, learning new skills and RIDING BIKES!
Be sure to bring water, lights, snacks and appropriate clothing depending on what the weather decides to do. The Rides Forum will include carpool opportunities when applicable.
