We have a great presentation of a fantastic tour by four riders. Four guys started their tour in East Glacier, Montana and traveled 1,355 miles, riding 24 days straight to Eugene through some vibrant and beautiful scenery. Traveling through mountainous forests requiring a lot of climbing with breathtaking descents into forested valleys filled with wildlife, including a brief encounter with a mother bear protecting her cub that was scurrying into the brush. The adventure included visiting the spectacular San Juan Islands with a ferry trip to Port Townsend and down the Hood Canal into Chinook. From here they traveled through Astoria down the Oregon Coast with all its exquisite beauty, while water drops glistened and sparkled off trees saturated with moisture from fog and rain. The last night was spent in the wonderful Honeyman State Park in Florence, with wind-whipped sand carving natural sculptures in the landscape. This is a presentation you don’t want to miss.
