Gorge Ride

A relaxed ride through beautiful country, with excellent food and friendly volunteers. Benefits the Friends of the Historic Columbia River Highway and the goal of reconnecting the HCRH through the Columbia River Gorge.

This route, with its world-class scenery, is a combination of historic roadway open to motor vehicles, with very low traffic, and the HCRH State Trail, open only to hikers and bicyclists. Support includes map, water, snacks, mechanical support and SAG. Experience the panoramic view at Rowena Crest. Visit the grounds of the historic Mayerdale Estate. Travel through the restored Mosier Twin Tunnels. Out and back, 38.5 miles total.

Interstate 84 to exit 82. West to Historic Columbia River Highway. North to Discovery Drive.
