Group Marathon Mountain Bike Rides (Bend) – Presentation
May 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Details: Interested in riding your mountain bike farther than ever? Join Serena Bishop Gordon for a presentation (and series of rides) on how to prep, plan and execute a racing plan for a 100-mile mountain bike race like the High Cascade 100 (held on Sat., July 16). After the presentation, we’ll work up to the HC100 event/distance together with a series of 3 rides, leaving from Pine Mountain Sports, 255 SW Century Dr, Bend – each with ride guides and a sweep. This series of rides is designed for ambitious gals and guys of all abilities, who are interested in working toward building up their trail miles with a friendly and encouraging group of riders. RSVP for both the presentation and the rides are required, but you do not have to attend all 4 events. Call 541-385-8080 for questions and to register.
