Event Description:
On September 12, Child Aid is holding its second annual Guatemala Literacy Ride to help bring books and reading programs to more than 7,000 impoverished children. Come ride with us to help support our work in Guatemala. The rolling hills, vineyards and forests outside Forest Grove (30 miles west of Portland) make for beautiful cycling country. Start times will be staggered beginning at 9 a.m., and all rides will start and finish at Rogers Park in Forest Grove. Participants can choose from three different routes: the 10-mile family ride, the 30-mile ride, or the 55-mile challenge ride.

Additional Information:
To register for the ride, please go to our online registration page at http://child-aid.org/building/biking/. We request a minimum donation of $20. Proceeds will go directly to support our Reading for Life literacy program, helping thousands of Guatemalan children learn to read. Find out more about our organization at www.child-aid.org. Please bring friends and family to ride with us and support Child Aid’s work. If you have any questions, please feel free to call 503-223-3008 or email info@child-aid.org. We hope to see you there!
