Happy Ride: Thankful for Larison Creek (Larison Creek)
November 29, 2015 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Larison Creek! A great ride with some fast and buff and some tight and technical. It’s a great all-weather ride and has some great scenery. While it does have some tricky root and rock sections don’t let it scare you off. It’s not a dangerous or scary trail. There’s just a few spots that challenge your balance and ability to maintain traction. They’re not in high-risk sections though.
Disciples of Dirt will meet up at LCC 9:15 to carpool. Leaving promptly at 9:32. Rolling from the Larison Creek trailhead outside Oakridge (next to Hills Creek reservoir) at 11:01.
