Stay Safe

In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Meet at Monroe Park (8th & Monroe) and ride with us out to Armitage.
No driving to the camping area allowed. It’s one of the most popular Kidical Mass rides of the year…and it’s a BLAST! This is our sixth year and it keeps getting bigger as more people discover the fun.

This is the event to kick off your summer family fun!! School will be out, Father’s Day will be Sunday, and the Oregon SRTS Conference will kick off in Eugene on Monday the 20th. Join us for a fun family bike ride and overnight trip out to the group camp site at Armitage Park.

After meeting at Monroe Park we’ll spin our way north through town to Armitage Park. We’ll stop at Cal Young Middle School to picnic and pick up any north side families. We’ll get out to Armitage around 1 pm and set up our tents in the reserved group camps (plus extra tent sites closer to the river).

We’ll play some fun games and explore the park before meeting back for a potluck-style dinner. After sleeping under the stars we’ll wake for a pancake breakfast to power us through the day.

People can ride back on their own or join a group at set departure times early Sunday afternoon.

Register, spread the word, and kick off the summer with this super-fun family bike camping event!
