Kidical Mass Longest Route Across The Street (Portland)
April 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

We can’t wait for Pedalpalooza; we want to ride now! Meet at Clever Cycles at 2 pm on Saturday, April 23rd. There’s usually plenty of room to line up bikes for a pre-ride photo on the west side of SE 9th. We will stay on the east side this year, using the flattest route possible and the new Orange Line MUP to get to Brooklyn Park. We’ll be there for awhile with bubbles and sidewalk chalk; bring some of your own to add to the fun! After burning off some kid energy we’re heading back to the Lucky Lab on SE Hawthorne, right across the street from Clever Cycles. Bring money if you want to buy food and drinks at the Lucky Lab.
Helmets required for under 18s, this is a long ride at 4 miles – feel free to do half the loop if you need!
