This is a perfect two-day event for those who are in training for triathlons, duathlons or adventure races. Everyone is invited to La Pine to stay in our convenient Rosland Campground or one of our many motels. Nearby is the Newberry National Volcanic Monument where you can ride to Paulina Peak in your spare time while visiting.

You can hang outdoors all weekend – the weather here is awesome in June!

This is a wild romp in the wilderness with some of the most experienced La Pine outdoor cyclists. The actual event spans two days, with the bike ride on the second day (Father’s Day). June 19 is a 2.5-mile or 5-mile run, and June 20 is the ride “to the flow,” a lava flow about 15 miles outside La Pine. It makes for some extreme scenery while riding along trails.

From Hwy 97 in La Pine, head east on Finley Butte Road until you reach Walling Lane. Turn right at Walling, then turn left into the parking lot of the La Pine Community Park. This is the start location for the event.
