Lakeside Bicycles Ride (every Wednesday)

Portland Velo sponsor Lakeside Bicycles invites all members to their Wednesday and Sunday rides. The rides begin at Lakeside Bicycles, 428 North State Street, Lake Oswego. Both rides vary from 35 to 60+ miles in length depending on who shows up and how much time the overall group may have. The Sunday ride is the shorter and “easier” of the two rides and always returns to the store before noon. The pace varies on both rides but in no case is anyone left behind or otherwise destroyed or intimidated. The rides leave from behind the shop. Weekend parking is available on street and in any of the municipal public parking lots (which are unpatrolled on weekends). Wednesday parking needs to be a bit more circumspect particularly for rides that run more than 3 hours. The main point to remember is, please pay attention to any and all parking signs. Routes and ride durations are determined just prior to rollout, with everyone having a voice.
