Meandering under canopies of trees, passing llamas in the fields, winding with the river and rustic cabins and mansions on manicured acreage, the Lancette Memorial Ride is the only fully supported, organized ride in these areas of Clackamas County. The route starts in Tualatin and heads out to Wilsonville, where a unique mix of meadow and stately pines line the way. After a rest stop at the historic Frog Pond Church the route goes out into the foothills where eventually Pete’s Mountain Road gives riders a breathtaking view of the Willamette River and travels into West Linn’s charming Old Town.
After crossing the Oregon City Bridge and stopping at the historic McLaughlin House rest stop for tasty snacks, the route heads up into rural Clackamas County south, east and finally west again, offering riders a wide array of spectacular rural settings not experienced on any other organized ride.
The Lancette Memorial Ride also offers an equally beautiful, fully supported 25-mile route and a family fun ride around Meridian Park Hospital. The finish line features a yummy lunch in a relaxing setting.
