MVBC Saturday Rides (Corvallis; every Saturday)
March 11, 2017 at 9:00 am
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Summer (May – Sept) Saturday rides meet at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m.. The rest of the year (Oct – April) Saturday rides omit the 8 a.m. option. Unless noted otherwise, Saturday morning rides depart at 15 minutes past the hour from the Osborn Aquatic Center near the corner of Circle Blvd and Highland.
Riders may self-organize and choose from the routes listed in the calendar on the MVBC website, or the group may decide to change the route at the start of the ride. Directional route-sheets are available at the routes page.
8:00 a.m. ride (May – Sept only): This group usually follows the ride calendar routes and is fast paced so jump in and hang on if you can.
9:00 a.m. ride: This group usually follows the ride calendar route. It is a medium paced ride that typically breaks to regroup once or twice along the way.
10:00 a.m. ride: This group typically develops multiple routes at the start of the ride. It is a slower paced social ride that regroups often and leaves no one behind.
