MVBC Sunday Lunch Ride (Corvallis; every Sunday)
February 14, 2016 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Besides getting that physical exercise in, these rides are also good outlets for seeing the gorgeous Willamette Valley we live in, grabbing a local bite at a place you probably haven’t visited, networking with you fellow Corvallisians, (obviously made this up), and a bunch of other reasons! Come on out no matter what your biking level is – from a beginner trying to find others to ride with all the way to a four-season warrior who has ridden across the country from Oregon to Delaware! (Ben from the collective.) It’s also important to note that we’re not here to race each other; these are pretty easy-going rides.
KEEP IN MIND
Please don’t forget that helmet; I could try to find you one if needed. Also bring: a rain jacket just in case, some water/snacks, money for lunch (if applies), and an extra bike tube to play it safe (we’ll have a bike pump, patches, and folks who know how to take care of flats on hand). Oh, and feel free to invite a friend or two!
“Ride as much or as little, or as long or as short as you feel. But ride.”
