Get ready to eat your way around Portland and its gorgeous fringes on this premier distance ride. The Portland Century features three route options, 25, 50 and 100 miles, with well planned courses and the very best food of any organized ride.
The Portland Century kicks off with a continental breakfast featuring rich Nossa Familia coffee, granola and fresh fruit. From there, the menu just keeps getting better. Depending on the course you choose, you’ll be treated to strawberry shortcake, Hot Lips Pizza (yes, on COURSE!) pasta salad, watermelon, deli sandwiches on Dave’s Killer Bread and much more. You’ll crest gently rolling hills, ride alongside fern-lined roads and all of a sudden find yourself in a gorgeous resting spot filled with a delicious spread of tasty treats. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, appetizers and a full gourmet dinner are all included in your ride pass.
The finish line features a gourmet dinner prepared on-site under the tree canopy of the Portland State University gardens with a free outdoor beer garden. The chefs will be grilling up salmon, chicken breasts and tender asparagus served alongside a mixed greens salad, pasta salad, freshly baked rolls and a delicious dessert. What a perfect way to relax after a rewarding day of riding your bike through Portland’s gorgeous landscape!
Portland is a world-renowned city for cycling, and the Portland Century definitely lives up to this honored reputation. Don’t miss out on this favorite annual cycling tradition.
