Red-Nosed Singalong Ride (Portland)
December 12, 2015 at 4:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Sing along to the stop-motion animation classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer which was first telecast 51 years ago! We will ride around downtown making a few singing stops to songs on the hour-long special with the help of a mobile audio/video system. Song lyrics provided on-screen below the video and on printed sheets, and all singing abilities are welcome. The 5 mile loop will include a stop at the tree in Pioneer Courthouse Square, and of course, the red-nosed sign by the river. Everyone on the ride gets a free LED light up Rudolph nose contoured to fit over your human nose, but also wearable on the neck, forehead, or helmet.
