SE Urban Goat Ride (Portland)
June 19, 2016 from 12:45 pm - 4:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Are you goat-curious? Wonder what it’s like to have goats in the city? What do they eat? Where do they sleep? Can you drink their milk? Or maybe you just want to spend the afternoon hanging out with awesome goats. Either way, join us on a tour of 4 goat properties in SE PDX.
The ride will be slow-paced and easygoing.
SE route will start at the Belmont Goats at SE 92st and Harold, then a 3.5-mile ride to 2 goat properties near SE 34th and Powell, then a 4-mile ride to our last stop near Lloyd Center (ok, it’s NE, but you’ll want to see Sullivan and the Black and Tan Clan!)
This is a longer ride than NE, and outer SE isn’t the most bike-friendly, so families with small children are encouraged to do the NE ride on June 12.
Meet and gather at the Belmont Goats at 12:45. (Ride will end around 4:00pm)
Volunteer Corkers needed!
