This is a volunteer trail-build event hosted by Northwest Trail Alliance at L.L. Stub Stewart State Park to continue build-out of the single-track trails in Stub Mountain Bike Area.
BONUS! Besides the free lunch and volunteer points you’ll earn towards NWTA end of year raffle (and all the good trail karma too!), we’ll also be doing a raffle at the build day just for those attending this volunteer event.

Bring snack, water, and work gloves. Tools are provided. A hearty LUNCH will be provided to those who sign-up to attend!! There is also an AFTERNOON crew (feel free to participate on both morning/afternoon work parties – coordinate with crew leads day of event – or bring your bike and ride).
Volunteer Check-in location day of event: Clayhill Horse Staging Area (end of the pavement) – if you arrive late nobody will be at check-in location, there will be temporary signs guiding you to the work area (check-in with a crew leader at project site)

Volunteer trail work in singletrack area for XC trail is under guidance of John Joy and Joe Rykowski (joer@nw-trail.org) as co-trail stewards in collaboration with Ranger Steve Kruger as the Oregon Parks & Recreation Department trail manager at L.L. Stub Stewart State Park.
Hwy 26 west towards Buxton, head North on Hwy 47 towards Vernonia. Enter L.L. Stub Stewart State Park thru main entrance and proceed to end of pavement. Park at Clayhill Horse Staging Area.
FREE Parking for volunteer participants.
Volunteer check-in will take place at Clayhill Horse Staging Area.
