Thursday Morning B Ride (Sisters) – Central Oregon Wheelers
June 1, 2017 at 9:30 am
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

This out and back ride is 38 miles from Sisters Elementary, with an elevation gain/loss of 2350 feet. This includes an eight mile climb up Green Ridge Road. Keep in mind, however, it is an out and back, so you can turn around at any time.
Optional lunch at Seasons Café at about 1:00 pm. I will call them and let them know we are coming so that they can plan to host us.
CARPOOLERS: You may optionally meet at 8:45 AM at the Bend Lowe’s Parking lot – (North of Home Depot on the SW corner of Cooley Rd. and US97). Please plan to be at the Sisters Elementary school before 9:30 AM.
Join the effervescent Toby in a series of Thursday morning B Rides. We are riding a slower, B pace which averages 10-12 mph. Hope to see you there.
