Tour de Arts

In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Ride begins at the Hillsboro Civic Center Plaza: 150 E. Main St. 97123 at 10am
Tour de Arts is a free community bicycle ride for individuals and families to discover neighborhoods and art located within Hillsboro. WashCo BTC has applied for a HACC (Hillsboro Arts & Culture Council) grant and collaborated with local arts organization to educate participants about the art and recruit artists to perform at selected parks and other public venues.
The ride is scheduled for Sunday, September 18th beginning at 10am at the Civic Center, 150 E Main St, Hillsboro. Two rides are being planned- a short (4-5 mile) family friendly ride and a longer arts tour (16 mile). Following the ride, a party-like gathering with local musicians and artists will be at the Sequoia parking lot.
We ask that riders pre-register at www.washcobtc.org/tour_de_arts. This is a free event (suggested $5 donation). Helmets are required. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
