This event is very well supported with food and drink at all rest stops, SAGs and motorcycles along the course, and bike repair at all rest stops. There is live music at the start of the ride and at the party afterward. This event is a fundraising event of the American Diabetes Association and funds research, advocacy and education.

There are routes from 10-100 miles. The finish line party includes live music, activities for all ages, lunch and a beer garden.

  1. I am a floral business in this location and am concerned about a floral delivery on this date, for a wedding. Time is of most importance for delivery to this wedding date. I will be traveling on Helvetia Rd. and out to Hwy 26. At or about 10am. I appreciate your intentions, but we as home and business owners need to have a free passage into and out of our properties and businesses at all times. Have fun, and raise money, but know that we have to earn a living as well.

  2. I would recommend finding different future routes. It is exhausting for residents to deal with the many bike events that set up shop on Helvetia Rd. We become prisioners in our homes.
    Once or twice can be supported but bike travel on these roads is EXCESSIVE. Give residents a break!
