Stay Safe

In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

This event stationed out of the little community of Powers, OR, in the southwestern part of the state, offers a gorgeous ride that winds through the beautiful Siskiyou National Forest. From your saddle enjoy spectacular scenery through the forested wilderness of our backyard including views of old-growth forests, waterfalls, rivers, streams, mountain vistas, and ferns!

Tour de Fronds offers 7 ride options (5 asphalt, 2 asphalt/gravel). The rides, on low-traffic roads, vary in length from 30 to 117 miles with varying elevation gains. The event offers a challenging Century ride and 2 Metric rides, in other words, there is something for everyone, from the novice rider to the cycling enthusiast. For more information about each ride visit our website at

The registration fee varies from $40 to $70 depending on ride choice and time of registration. This fee covers the Continental Breakfast at the Powers County Park Registration site and the Rest Stops where an opportunity awaits to hydrate, listen to music, and consume more “fun” calories than are necessary to complete the ride! The fee also includes a delicious post-ride dinner with some serious homemade dessert choices. Registration forms are available on the website or register at

The beautiful Powers County Park offers several camping options and a wonderful opportunity to mingle with fellow cyclists. To assist with a Friday arrival, one of our service organizations will provide a fundraising Spaghetti Dinner. If you would like to make this adventure a full Father’s Day Weekend, the Powers Lions Club will have a Pancake Feed for a small donation on Sunday morning.

The Tour de Fronds Committee and the Powers community look forward to hosting you and providing an outstanding experience as you enjoy riding the Tour de Fronds.
