Tour De Hives Northeast (Portland)
June 25, 2016 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Portland’s Tour de Hives, the Northeast day of the tour on June 25. Visit Portland’s backyard beehives and fall in love with the honey bee! Instead of being a self-guided event, this will be a group bike ride to visit the same set of beehives. There are a growing number of honey bee enthusiasts who are excited to show off their backyard apiaries and talk about what can be done in every yard to support these important pollinators. Admission to Tour De Hives is $10, payable at the start location (or buy tickets in advance), and a single ticket covers both the June 25 and June 26 tours.
