Trail Building at Spring & 30th Ave. (Eugene)

GEARs will be building a short section of new trail (approx. 100 feet) to be used as a new entrance to the southern end of the Spring Blvd. connector path, recently constructed by the City of Eugene and EWEB. The existing entrance has some safety issues, and the new trail will allow for a safer transition from the street to the trail. We’ll clear a bit of brush, and then put down gravel for the trail base and surface. This project should be a quick one, so come out and help for a couple hours!

This will be the first of several trail work projects planned by MTB Eugene in cooperation with the City of Eugene on our off-road trail system. MTB Eugene hopes to bring the mountain bike community together with other trail user groups to build a long-term relationship that will improve our local trails.
