Trailwork: Hardesty (Lowell)
April 30, 2016 from 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Event Date : Sat, April 30 – 9:30 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Meet at the parking lot for Goodman Creek on Hwy. 58. We will break up into groups and make the drive up Crale Creek Road.
This is going to be a big project involving the rebuilding/construction of some switchbacks below Crale Creek Road. In addition to the switchbacks, there is a need for tread restoration, and drainage issues in the same area. There may also be some significant trees and associated debris to remove farther down the trail.
Refreshments to be served after the workday.
Please remember to wear appropriate clothing for the workday, to include a hardhat (cycling helmet is fine), long sleeve shirt, sturdy pants, boots, gloves and eye protection.
