Willamette Gran Fondo
June 25, 2016
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Event #2 in the Oregon Triple Crown
Join hundreds of cyclists from the Northwest for this amazing journey through the foothills of the Willamette Valley and into the Oregon Coast Range.
A new route in 2016 will leave you breathless just three weeks after the Oregon Gran Fondo.
This year we will have a 125-mile loop or Gran with 9,500 feet of climbing, including a 3-mile section of gravel at mile 42.5. The Medio 60-mile route takes you on the same route, without quite as much climbing for an out-and-back to 5 Rivers RD.
The Gran, Medio and Tour routes feature an initial trip through Alsea Falls to break up the crowd and a return trip to rehydrate and eat with gorgeous forested canopies to keep you cool on a warm summer day. Multiple rest stops and and amazing SAG support from local bike shop Corvallis Cyclery will help you get to the post-event celebration.
Also, this year we are proud to support the Alpine Community Center in Alpine as both a volunteer group assisting with aid station support and by including a donation box though this event. Mudslinger Events will match up to $500 for all donations from participants for this event. Thank you for supporting this great community-based group!
