Women And Trans Bike Polo (Portland; every Sunday)
June 4, 2017 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Come out to Alberta Park for our women and trans bike polo event, which aims to provide a positive space for any new players who are women and/or trans.
If you are even the least bit curious about bike polo, this is the time to try it and meet some great people. We usually have a dedicated spectating/cheering/heckling section of women and genderqueer folks, too. (We are kindly asking male supporters who are interested in watching polo to stop by the court later in the day.)
Bring your bike gloves and helmet. If you can ride your bike with one hand, you’re good to go! Feel free to use your own bike, or borrow one at the court. Mallets will be provided.
