Women Bike: CranksGiving Ride
November 21, 2015 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Cranksgiving is a treasure-hunt food drive – teams visit a list of stores and buy a list of items. Items are donated to Outside In, which serves homeless youth. You don’t have to race to have an amazing time.
All are welcome to participate. We will form teams of 2-5 women each out of those that sign up. There will be prizes for each member of the teams for: Best Costumes, First Ones Back, and Biggest Spenders.
Cost: Each person on your team will need $10 to buy stuff with – bring extra cash if possible – we’re trying to beat the $1800 Cranksgiving donated last year.
Please sign up for the ride at http://puddlecycle.com/cranksgiving/ and use team name: “BTA Women Bike”. If you are signing up with a friend, please just email me or post to the board so I can make sure you end up on the same team.
