Women Bike Kelley Point Adventure (Portland)
March 26, 2016 at 10:00 am
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Meet for coffee in St. John’s at The Great North. We’ll warm up and chat here before heading out for a leaisurely excursion to Kelley Point Park. We’ll lunch at a brew spot near the ride start, location TBD by weather.
We will ride at a social pace, but please know your limits. The ride will be on roads with and without bike lanes as well as multi-use paths. This ride will be great practice for riding with a group on mutliple kinds of infrastructure.
Please dress appropriately for the ride, bring water and snacks.
This ride is open to all women, female-identifying, trans, and gender-nonconforming people who enjoy biking (or think that they might).
