Women’s Cycling (Eugene; every Saturday)
March 4, 2017 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

The Women’s Cycling Group meets for rides that tend to be slower and funkier than club rides. Distances vary (from 10 to 35 miles or more) with some interest in longer tours. We generally have anywhere from 3-10 riders, but have more than 60 women on our list. Riders are of various ages, between early 20s and 70s with the most regular participants more in the 40-60 range, though we have had rides where the majority were quite a bit younger. We are partial to conversation and cafes. Various riders plan and convene the rides. If you want to be notified of upcoming rides, or would like to suggest a ride, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We ride in Eugene.
This is a friendly, relaxed and fun group–and a great way to meet women to cycle with.
