Women’s Saturday Team Ride (Portland) Sorella Forte
September 10, 2016 at 9:00 am
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

Longer Sorella rides begin at 9 a.m. at River City Bikes on Saturdays and will be open to all Sorellas and any River City Bike rider who “graduates” from the regular recreation rides, simply by virtue of being strong enough to do longer, faster rides.
The SMR has set routes. (see below). If you’d like to join the ride, print the cue sheet and map and/or download the GPS information to your mobile device and show up ready to ride.
THESE RIDES WILL NOT HAVE A DESIGNATED RIDE LEADER. Depending on the group and the day, the ride may be a drop ride. You should come prepared to take care of yourself, including enough clothing, food, water, flat-changing supplies and map/cue sheet.
First Saturday of the month:
Canby Ferry Loop: 55 miles, hills + flat
Second Saturday of the month:
Wildlife Refuge in Vancouver: 44 miles, flat out and back.
Third Saturday of the month:
Logie Trail loop off Skyline: 50 miles, all hills!
Fourth Saturday of the month:
