Worst Day of the Year Ride (Portland)
February 12, 2017 from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
In Oregon, a bicycle is legally considered a vehicle, and the same Oregon road laws apply. Please “be seen” and practice safe riding. Vehicle traffic, farm equipment and narrow shoulders exist on many Oregon roads, and you may find that construction projects, traffic or other events may cause road conditions or signage to differ from the map results, ride descriptions and directions. For travel options plus weather and road conditions, visit tripcheck.com, call 511 (in Oregon only), 800.977.6368 or 503.588.2941. Routes listed on this website are for informational purposes and intended as a reference guide only.

The Worst Day of the Year Ride is a beloved Portland tradition. Regardless of the weather, thousands of fun-loving cyclists grab their friends, don their costumes, and gather to ride their bikes and wave their silly flags.
2016 introduced all-new routes and fun rest stops. There is over $5,000 in prizes for the giant costume contest so get creative and get rewarded!
Enjoy Dragonfly Chai, Nossa Familia coffee, Franz Bakery doughnuts, and KIND granola for breakfast. There are tasty treats at every rest stop: house fries at Ecliptic, Tamale Boy chips and salsa at Hi-Wheel, Munk Pack’s Oatmeal and Fruit Squeezes at Velo Cult and tater tots at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse.
Warm up after the ride with delicious hot soups, rolls, and a cascading chocolate fountain!
