Comments

  1. Can’t wait to try this one!

  2. I like the looks of this route but it seems more like a great one day epic than a 3 day cruise to me. I’ll let you know!

  3. I did each section of this route on 2 different C.O.’s. You can do it in 1 day but you would enjoy it more if you broke it up into a 2 day rides. Great views and some occ. headwinds with hills.

  4. Its nice. Can be done in day but not for everyone. Misses some routes to the north prior to heading to Cove.
One of my favorite rides in the LaGrande area.

  5. Be sure to add the attraction of the Cowboy Museum in Union! It’s an awesome stop on the route!

  6. Rode this Scenic Bikeway in its entirety–Saturday from La Grande through Cove, Union, North Powder and on to Baker City. Spent the night in Baker then Sunday cycled through Pondosa, Medical Springs, Union and back to La Grande. Great ride!

  7. Looks a fantastic ride.Well done Oregon!!

  8. Great ride. A bit hot in July, but beautiful. The scenery is always changing. We did a loop around La Grande and Union in one day. Union to Baker by way of Medical Springs Hwy. (lots of climbing) and back from Baker to Union. Three days of about 45 mile per day (we’re old lightweights). Good cheap motels to stay in along the way.

  9. Here’s a link to a less then two minute video to give you a flavour of the Grande Tour Scenic Bikeway.
