Slide Lake is a secluded high mountain lake 15 miles from Paisley, at 5,980 feet elevation. Accommodations include three campsites with rock fire rings. The campsites are located at the trailhead and at the lake. Recreation opportunities include fishing for trout and bird watching. The campground also features the Slide Lake Trail. This trail accesses Slide Lake for fishing and picnicking opportunities. The trail follows an abandoned road for most of its length. Some views of the geologically interesting collapsed face of Slide Mountain are offered.
