An Oregon Department of Transportation nighttime re-paving project will close one lane of US 101 between Newport and Waldport to all traffic.

Work will take place June 24 to July 31, 2014 between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Sundays through Thursdays. Cyclists riding during these times should expect 5–15 minute delays and roadwork obstacles. Flaggers and pilot cars will direct traffic. Please plan for delays and ride with care.

The two specific work areas will be from approximately the Lost Creek recreation area south through Seal Rock, and from the north end of the Alsea Bay Bridge extending north about a half mile.
