This ride offers a quiet rural setting, beautiful farmland, short climbs and fast descents. This route is easily accessible from Hillsboro, Beaverton or Portland, and is a great training ride.

The route winds north of Highway 26 on rural roads and through beautiful farmland. Helvetia Road has some small hills and one extended climb up to the Jackson Quarry Rd. intersection. Jackson Quarry Road winds through beautiful old trees and has one extended climb up to Mason Hill. Mason Hill is a great hill to descend (or climb if you are training).

Directions: Begin your route north of Highway 26 on Helvetia/Shute Road. Connect with Jackson Quarry Road (turn right). After climbing up Jackson Quarry (~1 mile climb), turn left on Mason Hill Road. Mason Hill connects with Jackson School Road. Take a left on West Union Road, which returns to your Helvetia Road starting point.
