Quiet roads in good shape, little to no traffic and a look at the reindeer ranch outside Redmond. One short steep hill and the rest through the countryside with a very few rollers.
Start at Tumalo State Park and hook into the Old Bend-Redmond Highway until Helmholtz and then stay on the back roads to Smith Rocks, looping back on a “lollipop” route that reconnects with Helmholtz back to the park.
