Lebanon to Scio via Lacomb

This loop route heads north through the valley and returns south along the base of the Cascade Range.

• Start at the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital parking lot
• Turn left at the Medical Plaza – go through lot
• Turn left on Industrial Way
• Turn right on Williams St.
• Turn right on Wheeler St.
• Immediate left onto Williams St.
• Turn left on Ash St. (rough road)
• Turn right on Walnut St.
• Turn left on Grant St.
• Go straight after bridge; becomes Brewster Rd.
• Turn right on Mt. Hope Drive (several steep uphills)
• Turn right at intersection with Bond Road – continue right on Mt. Hope Drive
• Go straight on Golden Valley Drive, which merges into Mt. Hope Drive
• Turn left on Bellinger Scale Road
• Turn right on Lacomb Road
• Turn right on E. Lacomb Road to store
• Turn right on Meridian Road north (steep downhills – terrific coasting!)
• Turn right on Fish Hatchery Drive
• Larwood Covered Bridge and Wayside – restrooms
• Turn left on Larwood Road
• Turn right on Richardson Gap Road
• Turn left on Highway 226
• Turn right on Main St. – Lunch in Scio if desired
• Turn left on 1st Ave.; becomes Robinson Drive
• Turn left on Goar Road
• Go straight and it becomes Gilkey Road (don’t turn left here)
• Turn left on Gilkey Road
• Turn left on Crabtree Drive
• Turn right on Cold Springs Road
• Turn right on Highway 226
• Turn a series of lefts to stay on Tennessee Road
• Go straight and enter Lebanon; becomes Wheeler St.
• Turn right on Williams St.
• Curves left into Industrial Way
• Turn right and pass through Samaritan Medical Plaza
• Turn right into the SLCH back parking lot – end
