This route is one of the four routes that are part of the Metolius Loops Scenic Bikeway.

The Allingham Loop begins and ends at the Camp Sherman Store and heads north up Forest Road 900 before crossing the Metolius River via the Allingham Bridge and then looping back to the start via Forest Roads 1217, 1420 and 1419 to make more of a square than a circular loop. It’s an easy and largely flat 3.3-mile ride with great views of the river for the first part, followed by forest views.
