This scenic route passes through farmland into rolling, forested hills and parallels the meandering Siuslaw River. The rural communities of Crow and Lorane have services available.

Starting at the intersection of Bailey Hill Road and Lorane Highway, head southwest to Lorane. When you reach Lorane, go west on Siuslaw River Road, which has a very low traffic level, beautiful wooded scenery and a good roadway. After passing by Siuslaw Falls the road gets a little rougher, but no potholes to speak of. Siuslaw River Road comes to an intersection at Wolf Creek Road; turn right on Wolf Creek and head up the three-mile climb to the top of Timber Ridge, which offers amazing views from the top. Wolf Creek Road ends at Territorial Road; turn left, and then soon after turn right onto Crow Road and make your way back to the start as shown.

This is the signature ride for roadies from the Eugene/Cottage Grove area. This route has a lot of climbing to go with the scenery.

Note: This bike route is part of the proposed Southern Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, along with the Hamm Road Loop, Northern Leg and Dorena Lake Loop routes on this site.
