    A twisty single-track pathway snaking its way through the woods, the Gnat Creek Trail has just enough roots and logs to keep things interesting for intermediate-level riders and up. The trail is anything but boring, as you dip up and down through the woods with views of Gnat Creek.

    Distance: just under 8 miles; out and back

    How to find the trailhead: look for the sign labeled “Gnat Creek Camping Area” just west of the Gnat Creek Fish Hatchery.
