This is an awesome trail for being so close to Eugene. You will ride it again and again.

The gravel-road section is a long steady climb. The trail on the way down is somewhat technical, but fun and scenic. You’ll be treated to views of the river, and places to cool off on a hot day.

Goodman Creek is about halfway between Eugene and Oakridge. Use the hiking parking lot, but go up the gravel road about two blocks west of the trailhead. You can then come down the trail, or go up further to Eagle’s Rest.

Seasons: Spring – Fall
