  1. Oregon Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with both Northwest Trail Alliance (http://nw-trail.org) and Westside Trail Federation (http://westsidetrailfederation.org) to help develop the mountain biking specific trails in park. That’s right… an entire area of the state park dedicated for mountain biking trails. Need your help to build ‘em! More help, sooner area will get opened to public…

Its fun working on trails with other riders. Keep eye on event calendar for upcoming build days as well as group rides.

  2. Great area to spend the afternoon. Awesome view from hilltop day-use. It is nice to have a State Park so close to P town

  3. Good trail riding – some was crushed asphalt/gravel and then fun dirt single track. One issue – the unfit settlement view trail looked like it linked to hares canyon… however, the trail was under construction so the link wasn’t completed – we didn’t know till we climbed up to the link area, it’s mapped in the park brochure (http://www.oregonstateparks.org/images/pdf/stubstewart_full.pdf) otherwise a fun ride.

  4. Northwest Trail Alliance has spring 2010 volunteer work events slated… http://nw-trail.org/node/1884 Please consider coming to help put finishing touches on the initial mountain biking area trail so parks can open it to public.

  5. It’s only gonna get better, but only with help of volunteers. Stub is a new park and it’s cool there’s a mountain biking area where we can develop the singletrack just to our tastes.
