Our favorite cross-country-style downhill trail, close to town.

Fun, short and quick, with patches of technical. Although mostly smooth and fast, it slows down for some steep narrows and tight spots. Watch out for fast blind corners. Five miles of smiles!

  1. Trail head doesn’t seem right on this map. Get a ride about 5 mi up forest road 2102. then get ready for a thrilling 4+ mi downhill. when you hit the gravel road at the bottom take a right. follow it for about a ¼ mi to a trail on the left that heads into the Oakridge city park and hopefully your ride is waiting there to take you to the top again.

Larison creek is not listed here but also a fun ride. Not steep but technical in some spots.

  2. The trail head marker on this map is definitely in the wrong place. As it stands, it is deep in a valley. It is really directly south east of Larison Rock summit on Road 2102. If I had a way of making the map, I could pinpoint it for you. I was just there the other day, hiking up the trail. Great trail for hiking and I can see how wonderful it would be for biking down.

  3. I meant, “if I had a way of marking the map.”
