Trailhead: Park or ride to the beginning of Leif Erikson Drive at the south end of NW Thurman Street.

Highlights: A long figure-8 loop close to town with steep climbs and descents, lush forest and some nice views.

Note: Fire lanes are not marked; be wary of traffic on Skyline Boulevard and lots of other users near the Thurman St. Trailhead.  This ride can be shortened significantly by only riding two of the fire lanes.

Seasons: All year, but expect mud in winter and spring.

A detailed map of this trail and others nearby is available through Adventure Maps, an Oregon company, at local bike shops and outdoor retailers, as well as online at www.adventuremaps.net.
